Spending New Year’s Eve on a cruise ship is certainly a stylish thing to do. While all the people out on the streets are getting more and more excited about the magical twelve strokes from the clock tower, you will be on the AMADEUS sun deck, looking out at all the bright lights of Strasbourg, and then dancing the New Year in to a traditional Danube waltz. Our New Year’s Eve cruise does, however, begin quite peacefully in Cologne, and you spend the last three days of the old year in the impressive Rhine landscape and towns of Koblenz, Ruedesheim and Mainz.
